Golf Courses in Spain
Course Summary: Par 70
Santa Maria Golf & Country Club opened in 1991 with the first 9 holes designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido and the second nine holes designed by Santa Maria's own Technical Team in 1996.
Without doubt one of the friendliest and "user friendly" courses on the Coast, a big favorite with our clients. A good test for all standards of golfers with forgiving fairways, four lakes, elevated par 3 tees which make for some great banter with your friends, before tee off! Santa Maria has it all.
The course is always in good condition and with the course tracing the contours of two valleys, the streams and lakes form natural hazards. Santa Maria winds through a valley, before climbing up to
the mountain. With the variable terrain it determines that the first 9 holes are shorter and slightly more complicated with the second 9 holes longer and more relaxing. There is a good selection of tight and more open holes where you need to keep it straight, even for the low handicappers. If you drive well the course will reward you.
It is a tough walk so a buggy is recommended.
