Designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1994 Marbella Golf is a typical “Jones” course. With it’s sweeping fairways, abundant bunkers and large undulating greens. The initial holes require accurate and brave tee shots to get across the ravines and gulleys. As you progress, the holes are somewhat easier on the nerves, but you need to keep it straight otherwise you are in big trouble. Marbella Golf is a strong test of your nerves and course management. The course combines all the elements required by professionals and amateurs alike in order to play at the highest level. An exceptional location, and a tough walk so a buggy is recommended.
