Los Naranjos Golf Club is situated right in the heart of Europe´s golf eldorado on Costa del Sol in Spain - right in the middle of the well known Golf Valley of Marbella. Robert Trent Jones Sr designed and built the course in the middle of the 70´s and the beautiful club house was inaugurated in the end of 1991.
A total length of more than 6.000 metres from the yellow tee, Par 72 , (and almost 6.500 metres from the white) makes Los Naranjos is a challenge not only for the average player but even for the very best professionals! One of the most interesting features of Los Naranjos is the significant difference between the front nine and the back nine. It´s like playing two different courses. The first nine are more undulating with broad sweeping fairways and the back nine is more parkland with extensive orange groves from which the course gets it’s name. Los Naranjos is a great course to fascinate all players.
The course has just undergone a programme of improvements including new greens and a computer-controlled irrigation system.
