CASA ALGORROBO (The locus tree)
A romantic little country cottage privately situated and tucked away in the hills of the Mijas Valley of Golf, not far from the white walled village of Alhaurin in Andalucia, southern Spain. Just 40 minutes from Malaga Airport. From its patio, Casa Algorrobo commands spectacular views to the west across the mountains.

QUAINT COMFORTABLE DECOR
Andalucian in style, with rough plasterwork, terracota tiled floors with rustic beams and chimney. The pretty wooden shuttered windows overflow with geranium filled window boxes.

A WEALTH OF THINGS TO DO
While the surrounding countryside offers total tranquility, recommended local tapas bars and fish restaurants offer excellent value for money. Shops are within easy reach, approx 10-15 mins drive. Alternatively, the smart cosmopolitan restaurants of Marbella, Puerto Banus and Mijas are within a 25 min drive, or just spend a lazy evening on the patio dining whilst watching the sun sink slowly behind the mountains.

Situated on the migratory route between Europe and Africa, there are many rare birds to be seen. The surrounding countryside is a delight to botanists, walkers, painters and photographers alike. The owners, who occcasionally use the pool are on hand nearby to help with any enquiries. Golf and horse riding can be arranged and unbelievably, skiing , is only 2 hours drive away (Jan-April). A choice of good beaches with chiringuitos (beach bars) serving excellent local fish are just 20 minutes drive away.

CASA ALGORROBO
With it's secluded patio area beside the pool and Surrounding garden areas have been dramatically cut into the rock. Terracota pots abound with colourful Hibiscus, aromatic herbs and heavily scented jasmin. Enjoy a holiday break in the warm Spanish sunshine..... Spend a day visiting Malaga with the recent opening of the Picasso museum, a visit to the cathedral, the Alcazaba castle, or the roman ruins just a few of the cultural places which are a must to visit or take a trip to the old Arabic palace at Granada, the vibrant city of Sevilla or historic Ronda, all a days excursion on empty scenic roads.

...... THE ACCOMODATIONS

Andalucian style Tastefully furnished Casa Algorrobo with rustic pine furniture and relaxing neutral toned soft furnishing, decorated in sunny Mediterranean colours . The cottage has one large double bedroom and a fully fitted show room including towels, and toiletries, hair dryer and hand-painted tiles.

The cottage has a lounge with kitchen area, boasting a fridge freezer, oven, ceramic hob, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, juicer and iron. Creature comforts include T.V.offering various channels BBC1, BBC2, Sky News, etc. CD player, DVD Player, chimney, ceiling fans both in living room and bedroom.

POOL AREA
Sun loungers, wooden deck chair, beautiful wooden table and chairs to accomodate your lunch or evening BBQ's located in the idylic surrounding countryside.
